When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!

Lately, I have sort of lost my way. I have been questioning every single decision I've ever made and am really apprehensive about coming to a concrete decision for my future. My Aunt Tammy has a lemon tree at her house and my grandma has been coming home with tons of lemons. So when life gives me lemons, like life lately has been doing for me, I make lemonade! One great thing about living at grandma's is that she has every cooking utensil you can image, which includes a juicer. I know that it's January and it's supposed to be winter, and lemonade isn't really a winter beverage, but does winter even exist in California? Making lemonade was actually pretty fun and relaxing, maybe I'll turn this whole "cooking for fun thing" into a solid hobby and eventually have someone that will taste my delicious creations.

The Start of my Blog.

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.

So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art or love or work or family or life.

Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it. Make your mistakes, next year and forever.
